Olivetti Lettera 32 typewriter A turquoise-coloured portable typewriter which belonged to Francisco Albert Vidal. Vidal wrote speeches and letters on this typewriter and often worked long hours into the night. The machine is made from aluminium and plastic and has a transportation case. It was made in Spain and a popular model because it was easily portable, weighing 5 kilograms. -

Commemorative medal This is a medal given to Francisco Albert Vidal. The circular medal, in its original orange box, features the IVTO logo of a gear in relief. It is not known when Vidal received this medal, but it was certainly during his time as Secretary-General of the IVTO—the inscription on the back states, 'From the organizing council to your Secretary-General.' The Latin inscription on the front, Honor meliora foventibus, translates as 'Honour for those fostering improvement.
