WorldSkills flag with patches from 44 Competitions from 1950 to 2019 After its three-month journey on the International Space Station, this flag returned to the Earth to continue its journey across 20 countries that had hosted the WorldSkills Competitions since 1950. Each country held a ceremony where the logo patches from 44 previous Competitions were added to the WorldSkills flag, and vlogs about the Flag Relay were filmed in each country visited. Last destiny for this flag was WSC Kazan 2109. -

Sam, of New Zealand, is not Maori but proud of the Maori heritage that forms part of the country’s indigenous culture. He incorporated the mould into his menu planning and plating. -

Interview with Peter Johns Peter Johns was selected as the UK competitor for Silversmithing in the 1965 Glasgow Competition and won the gold medal. In this interview, recorded at his home in England in November 2019 he recalls his early apprenticeship and training in London, his experiences of the 1965 event and his subsequent career to date. A second part of the interview relates to his involvement in the creation of Argentium, a unique type of silver that does not tarnish, and the challenges of bringing it to market. -
