Participants’ survey report of the 32nd International Vocational Training Competition, Taipei 1993 (photocopy)

Report designed and analysed by the Work Skill Australia Foundation, documenting the results of a survey conducted among Competitors, Experts, and Officials at the 32nd Competition. Based on 511 completed surveys, it examines perceived benefits of participation (personal, skill category, national), suggestions for improvements, relevance of tested skills, coverage of skill categories, expected changes by the year 2000, and overall effectiveness of the Competition in motivating and training young people. Minutes of the meeting of the Technical Committee of the 22nd International Vocational Training Competition, Madrid 1975, held on 9 and 10 September 1975. The meeting began with a welcoming address by Mr. Yago of the Spanish Committee, explaining the circumstances at the “Virgen de la Paloma” venue, the preparations made, and the support of the Trade Union Organization. The agenda covered the revision of competitors’ inscriptions, revision and modification of Jury Committee membership, preparation of material, and the process for selecting exercises. Decisions included adjustments to Jury memberships, changes to competitors entered in certain skills, and confirmation that the Automobile Mechanics demonstration could not be held, being replaced instead by a documented exhibition. The meeting closed with no further business.

The minutes include the list of attendees, chaired by Mr. Hamer, and detail the selected exercises, marking schemes, and time limits for the different skills. They also record recommendations regarding impartiality of Marking Committees, minimum points to be awarded, and the need for corrections in case of translation errors. The session concluded without further business.
