- Description
-
Crystal commemorative trophy produced for the WorldSkills 1950-2025 Commemorative Edition, Lisbon 2025, organized by WorldSkills Portugal. The initiative marked the 75th anniversary of the first international skill competitions held in Madrid in 1950, recreating the spirit and format of the original event. Spain was invited to participate.
The commemorative competition replicated the six original skill competitions from 1950, or their contemporary equivalents, as a tribute to the origins of the WorldSkills movement.
The rectangular crystal block is laser-engraved with a simplified line drawing inspired by the figure of the original trophy awarded at the first competition in 1950, depicting a stylized human figure holding a geometric form above its head on a pedestal. The engraving also includes the text:
“WorldSkills
1950–2025
Commemorative Edition
WorldSkills Portugal”
