This piece is a Romanesque architectural element which form part of a pediment of a doorway, the front entrance of the Old Manse, a house built in 1742 in Connecticut, USA, for the Reverend Ebenezer Gay.
The piece is Russian limestone: dense limestone from the "Zdanovskoe" deposit in Orendurg region, Sakmarskyi district of Russia.
