Description: The official mascots for WorldSkills Shanghai 2021 made their first public appearance during the Closing Ceremony of WorldSkills Kazan 2019. Soft toy versions, presented in a gift box, were given to guests at a reception for WorldSkills Shanghai 2021 (which was later canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic) held during WorldSkills Kazan 2019.

The mascots represent male and female figures, with a design inspired by Shanghai's Oriental Pearl Tower. The blue figure (male) is called Nengneng, and the orange and red figure (female) is called Qiaoqiao. Both names translate to "capable craftsmen" in Chinese.
