- A filmed interview with Patrick “Paddy” Carpenter, sheet metal competitor and teacher. In the 2020 interview Carpenter describes his journey from young apprentice sheet metal worker to teacher at the College of Technology, Bolton Street until retirement. Carpenter’s career decision was influenced by his brother, also a sheet metal worker. He won silver at Dublin 1963| bronze at Lisbon 1964 and received a diploma of excellence at Glasgow 1965. In 1971 he began a long career teaching sheet metal work to young students.
