- Description
-
A pennant handed out to participants at the 1961 competition held in the Federal Republic of Germany (known as West Germany, retroactively called the Bonn Republic.)
The flag features the black, red and yellow colours, and coat of arms of the Bonn Republic.
Although Germany sent a team to the first wider international competition in Madrid 1953 and was instrumental in the creation of the IVTO in 1956, the year 1961 marked the first time Germany hosted the competition. The event was held at the Rheinstahl Wanheim and Huttenwerke Rheinhausen workshops from 2 – 14 July 1961. - Date
