Description: The bundle of press cuttings was reprinted and published for the 50th anniversary of the 12th International Trade Competitions for Apprentices, held in the College of Technology, Bolton Street, Dublin. The competition received a lot of national press at the time mostly from the Irish tabloids and broadsheets. Nearly every angle of the competition was covered from beginning to end, sometimes breathlessly. There is a particular focus on the first Asian Member to join the IVTO - Japan. Japan and Ireland came away with the most medals.
