Team UK
The brochure was produced by WorldSkills UK as part of a submission to the Royal Mail in the UK, requesting a set of commemorative stamps to be commissioned for WorldSkills London 2011. The brochure includes information on WSC London, the value of skills and support from the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills. -

The brochure is focussed on the 43 competitors which formed Team UK in 2011. 37 skills were entered at WSC London 2011 by Team UK. The brochure includes a list of the names, skill, age, region of the UK, home town, training provider/college and employer. -
WorldSkills London 2011 - The Power of Plants
WorldSkills London 2011 celebrated skills excellence at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in Spring 2011. At the Show WSC London had an exhibition stand where visitors could produce sugarcraft flowers, create buttonholes, craft a flower brooch and create a hairstyle using fresh flowers and plants. The focus was on promoting WSC London 2011 and encouraging visitors with the chance to register for a complimentary ticket. -
WorldSkills London 2011 - Have a Go guide
WorldSkills London 2011 encouraged partners to organise 'Have a Go' skill taster sessions in the run up to and during the WSC in October 2011. The sessions were a way of engaging people. The brochure was part of a campaign to create one million opportunities for people across the UK to 'Have a Go' and try a new skill. -

3-part fold-out 1990s brochure introducing the IVTO, complete with small images from past events. The information is brief and general, no general figures or dates to go by. The date of the pamphlet is not listed either, though it was definitely produced after 1991 (as the NL competition is visible), and possibly before 1995 (One shot can be seen in which IVTO members hold 1995 Iconography, though cannot confirm whether remaining pictures actually originate from '95. -
Horizons 81 - a VICA Documentary
Documentary book of The National VICA Leadership conference, the United States Skill Olympics and WSC Atlanta 1981 by VICA. 89 Pages are dedicated to WSC Atlanta specifically, covering the Opening Ceremony, The Technical Experts, Delegations by Country, Observers and 'Spouses' activities, actual Competitions and Winners, the Closing Ceremony, and the Receptions, socials and the Farewell party. The book mostly entails a collection of photos, captions that are present simply identify individuals (though, rarely), or otherwise entail quotes from organization members or famous quotes and proverbs. -

Speech by Margaret Thatcher at 30th International Skill Olympics 1989
This is the speech Margaret Thatcher made at the Awards Ceremony of the International Skill Olympics in Birmingham, United Kingdom in September 1989. Margaret Thatcher was the Prime Minister of the UK at the time. Following the Skill Olympics Mrs Thatcher decided to invest government funds to establish UK Skills - a dedicated organization to manage Skill Olympic activities. This was an important step forward for the UK. -

Leslie Woolley's diary 1961
The hand-written diary of Leslie Woolley, a gas pipe welder who competed for the British team at the 1961 competition in Duisburg, Germany. The diary was given to Woolley by his girlfriend Margaret before he left. It was his first trip abroad. Woolley was 17-years-old at the time and an apprentice at the Michelin company in the English city of Stoke on Trent. The diary records events at the competition, tourist excursions and many autographs of fellow competitors. He notes with regret losing his camera. The diary carries the inscription "Good Luck Les. Love from Margaret” on the inside cover. Les and Margaret have been happily married for more than 50 years. -
