• Memory of the Professional Workers Training Contest 1954

  A report published by the Spanish youth organization, Frente de Juventudes, which details progress made towards creating an international organization dedicated to skills contests. The report contains information about the international contest held in the Spanish capital Madrid in the winter of 1953 along with several black and white photographs of the event, competitors and organizers. Also included is a draft of rules for future international competitions - many of the attendees hoped to capitalize on the success of the 1953 competition. It was published in January 1954.

  A printed invitation to a classical guitar concert on 23 November 1953, part of the 1953 Madrid Competition programme. The invitation was made to Fred Hill, representing the UK. The reverse is signed by various Spanish delegates, also listing their regions and carries the inscription "to remember all your friends of Spain"
