45th WorldSkills Competition, Kazan 2019 - Chef's uniform
A jacket worn by Sam Heaven, a young competitor from New Zealand who participated in the Cooking category at WorldSkills Kazan 2019, finishing in 36th place. The uniform features a decorative sleeve with a Māori motif, designed by Sam himself. Though he is not Māori, he values the Māori heritage that is an integral part of New Zealand’s culture. To ensure cultural appropriateness, he consulted with Māori people, the indigenous inhabitants of New Zealand before European colonization. Beyond his uniform, Sam incorporated Māori elements into his competition space and culinary approach, integrating Māori influences into his menu planning and plating. This included developing his own custom moulds. -

A male hair mannequin which was the completed Test Project in Hairdressing at WorldSkills Kazan 2019. The hair mannequin, being the test project outcome for ‘men’s traditional classic haircut’ tasks. The hairstyle was created by the Gold medallist from the Kazan competition, Dan Shi, from China. -

WorldSkills Competition, Shanghai 2021 - Toy mascots
The official mascots for WorldSkills Shanghai 2021 made their first public appearance during the Closing Ceremony of WorldSkills Kazan 2019. Soft toy versions, presented in a gift box, were given to guests at a reception for WorldSkills Shanghai 2021 (which was later canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic) held during WorldSkills Kazan 2019. The mascots represent male and female figures, with a design inspired by Shanghai's Oriental Pearl Tower. The blue figure (male) is called Nengneng, and the orange and red figure (female) is called Qiaoqiao. Both names translate to "capable craftsmen" in Chinese. -

The completed Test Project for Prototype Modelling at WorldSkills Kazan 2019 was a case for an underwater camera. It was made by the winner of the Gold medal, Aidar Mineev of Russia. -

Sang-Hyeon Lee of Korea won the silver medal at WorldSkills Kazan 2019 in Joinery with this piece. The piece shows a high level of technical skills, both traditional and modern. The test project, designed to show the core values and skills of joinery, is made of European oak. -
45th WorldSkills Competition, Kazan 2019 - Cabinetmaking Test Project
Solid oak, free-standing cabinet won Eun-Young Choi of Korea a Medallion for Excellence at WorldSkills Kazan 2019. The double doors open to reveal shelves and carved along the bottom panel are some Kazan landmarks. A maple and walnut veneer inlay across the top finishes the cabinet. -
45th WorldSkills Competition, Kazan 2019 - One School One Country badge
One School One Country for WorldSkills Kazan 2019 (Russia) was held on August 22 2019. Members and officials of WorldSkills China accompanied WorldSkills President Simon Bartley to Polytechnic Lyceum 182, a school of 1,800 pupils up to the age of 17 in the city's suburbs and with an emphasis on the teaching of science The visitors were presented with a commemorative laser cut wooden ID badge on a variety of colored ribbons, including blue, green and red. The badges feature the school's logo, which incorporates the atom symbol. -
45th WorldSkills Competition, Kazan 2019 - Fashion Technology Test Project
This coat dress made by Brazil's Gabriella Louise dos Santos Silva won the Silver medal in 2019. The dress has an interpretative design by Brazilian Expert Elaine Alves. The primary cloth is Belarus wool, a durable fabric, and features pale green inserts and a raspberry lining both made from polyester. The design and decoration is inspired by the Russian imperial family, the Romanovs. -

The enamel badge was designed by Robin Kyte, British jewellery designer and manufacturer. -
