3D printed prosthetic arm A prosthetic arm made in a 3D printing machine in a Spanish vocational school. The artificial limb was made for a nine-year-old girl named Conchi. Conchi was born with a malformation in her left arm and her world changed when she received an articulated prosthesis in pink and red, her favourite colours. It was the gift that Ramón and Fulgencio, two teachers from Orihuela (Spain), had made for her thanks to the "Enabling the Future" programme, a community of individuals from all over the world who are using their 3D printers to create 3D printed hands and arms for those in need of an upper limb assistive device. "I can hold things and write. The other day at school I picked up a pencil and started drawing lines." said Conchi when she received her prosthesis, with a smile that almost couldn’t fit on her face.
